Math Department

Welcome!

Math is more than finding the right answer. It is a way of thinking about patterns, relationships, and real-world problems. In our courses, students develop problem-solving skills, logical reasoning, and mathematical communication while building the confidence to tackle challenging situations.

Our curriculum is aligned to the Massachusetts Mathematics Standards and is designed to help students make sense of mathematics through exploration, discussion, modeling, and application. Students learn to connect multiple representations, including graphs, tables, equations, diagrams, and data, to deepen their understanding of mathematical concepts.

Each course is organized around meaningful questions and learning progressions that help students build knowledge over time. As students move through the curriculum, they learn to analyze data, model relationships, justify their reasoning, solve complex problems, and apply mathematics to situations both inside and outside the classroom.

We invite students and families to explore how mathematical understanding develops throughout each course and across the high school mathematics program!
