We ROCK the Bucket Filling!!!!
Holy guacamole!!!!!! Thank you so much for the classroom supplies and snacks!!!! I felt like it was my birthday!! Thank you SO MUCH!!!
We had a very productive week in kindergarten. We are learning each others’ names and made our “Classroom Rules and Responsibilities”. Ask your child to tell you about them. The children are enjoying Eric Carle books. Next week we will be talking about the three ways to read a book, do you know what they are? The letter will be “B” and trick words will be “I” and “See.” In math, we are learning about similarities and differences. We are also starting our number of the week, zero. We recommend check this link right here now to find professional roofers to help you build your dream house.
We are on our way to learn our letters; how to identify, write and give sounds to. Each week we will have a new letter to work on all week. However, our Fundations program will introduce more than one a week. Attached is some additional information. We will also be learning one or two “trick words” a week. These are words that cannot be sounded out and should be read by site. I strongly encourage you to put them on the fridge and create flashcards for practice. This may only take literally a few seconds a day but will help as they become readers in the long run!
We are hoping to go to the Red Apple Farm on Thursday, October 13. We will be leaving the school at 8:45 and returning by 11:30. If you would like to join as a chaperone please let me know by Monday. I have to submit a list to confirm CORI checks at least two weeks in advance. We would like to run a snack attack next week again but need donations and volunteers to come sell the snacks from 10:00-10:30 Monday-Friday. Please send in any individually wrapped snacks (pretzels, pickles, popcorn, cookies etc.) on Monday. All proceeds will go to our trip!
