Dear Parents/Guardians of A.R.M.S. Students,
In an effort to improve communication between our school and families, we are working to keep the school’s website as up-to-date as possible. As we head to the end of the school year, with its many planned activities and events, please regularly check the A.R.M.S. link at the District website for information about class activities, school trips, sports schedules, and other events. The site can be found at www.arrsd.org. If it is difficult for you to access the internet, please call me or send in a note with your child to request that information be sent through the mail.
If you have any questions about your child’s progress in class, please call or email the teacher directly so that your concerns can be addressed by the teacher and/or the grade-level team. If you feel that you need any additional follow-up, or if there is a school issue of significance, please call me directly as soon as possible. As a reminder, the online family portal is an option for parents to access their child’s grades. Forms to sign up for the portal are available in the A.R.M.S. main office.
Sometimes we hear from students and parents that it is difficult for students to report issues that occur at school. To assist with this concern, we have created an email address with which students and/or parents can simultaneously contact the principal, assistant principal, and superintendent. If there is a message you would like to send to the A.R.M.S. administration and the superintendent, please email email@example.com. It is our hope that issues can be reported as quickly as possible so that major incidents are addressed, and so that relatively minor issues do not escalate to major ones.
It is my goal that student and/or parent questions or concerns are brought to the school’s attention so that information can be provided, perspectives can be shared, and issues can be appropriately handled. It is also my goal that our families can work together with the school to provide a positive and productive learning environment for all students at A.R.M.S.
Sincerely, Tom Telicki
