preknl_greenhatWe are beginning our unit on Spring! For the next few weeks, we will be talking about all the changes that Spring brings – changes in the air, changes on the ground, changes on the trees and more! All this talk of Spring will be getting us ready for our very exciting news happening in early May! We will be having our very own Preschool Vegetable Garden in collaboration with Seeds of Solidarity. The name of the program is Grow Food Everywhere! More information will be sent home mid-April, but know that we will be looking for parent and community volunteers as the project gets closer!
Here’s a look at some of what we have planned this week:

  • Caterpillar Number Games

  • Who’s Hatching – Weekly Reader

  • Shamrock art activities

  • Rainbow Color sorting and counting

  • Flower building with Pom Poms and Tweezers

  • Pot of Gold counting and shapes

  • He/she pronoun center

  • Green Shaving Cream fun!
