March is National Crafts Month. Check out the crafty books in the media center. Try something new and creative!

March is also Women’s History Month. A great book to read is America’s Women: 400 Years of Dolls, Drudges, Helpmates, and Heroines by Gail Collins. The author brings to life the struggles, concerns, and daily life of women in American history, beginning with the women of the Mayflower.

Or try The Daring Ladies of Lowell by Kate Alcott, based on the murder of a Lowell mill girl in 1833. This book has romance, mystery and history – what more could you ask for?

There’s lots more – come to the media center and check it out!
