IV. RECOGNITION

R. Newman recognized all the students and new staff in the District.

D. Kuzmeskas recognized the Athol High and Athol-Royalston Middle School bands for attending the 9/26/09 UMASS band day.

V. UNFINISHED BUSINESS

Professional Development Committee presentation. C. Dawson and M. Dahlquist did a presentation for the P.D. Committees overvies, goals, and timelines.

C. Hall arrived – 7:43

MCAS presentation – K. Strong, Principal, Athol High School, E. Brouillet, Principal , Athol-Royalston Middle School and D. Somes, Elementary School Principal Representative, gave presentation on Spring 2009 MCAS results in the District.

*K. McNiff moved to move #5 & #6 up on the agenda, R. Newman seconded, motion passes.

VI. FINANCIAL STATEMENTS AND APPROVAL OF ACCOUNTS – R. Newman moved to pay an employee who was underpaid $6,843.00 of last years money, J. Maga seconded, motion unanimous.

VII. COMMITTEE MEMBER REFERRALS

R. Newman questioned senior passes for the elderly

K. McNiff – Superintendent’s evaluation and tool paperwork to be sent to Committee.

D. Kuzmeskas respectfully requests to have the Superitnendent’s report in the packet before the meeting.
