The Starrett Memorial Church is looking for help setting up for their Church Suppers on Saturday mornings from about 9 am to 11 am.  If interested contact Mrs. Lajoie

The Royalston Historical Society is looking for student volunteers to help out with the Candlelight Living History Tours of Olde Center Cemetery on Royalston Common on October 19.  See Mrs. Godpadarek or Mrs. Lajoie if interested.

2-3 high schoolers are needed to provide childcare for PTO meetings for the 2019-2020 school year. We would like them to arrive a little before 6 p.m. in the ACES GYM  and they would leave a little after 7:00 p.m. The meeting dates for the year are listed below.

The new Athol Veterans Memorial Micro Park next to the hospital needs a little TLC. Message me if you like. The wood chips need to be replaced with real grass and the weeds need cutting back. You can contact paula at paulafhfa@gmail.com

Every Wednesday at 4:30 pm at the St. Francis Church in downtown Athol –  help prepare and serve meals to the public. You may also eat dinner too.

Looking for 2 people to man a water station at the Car Show at the Orange Airport, Oct 13, hours 9 a.m. -1 p.m.

Athol YMCA is looking for rec soccer coaches!!!

AOTV will be offering video and radio workshop to the community.  The video classes will be for five weeks on Thursdays nights, from September 12 to October 10 at 6PM.  You will learn camera, editing, lighting, studio work and directing.  The two classes for WVAO radio will be Thursday nights at 6PM on October 17 & 24. The radio class will teach audio recording, audio editing, writing for community calendar and FCC regulations. 

After each course, you can volunteer to make your own shows or help on other shows including River Rat Race, Food-a-thon, football games, and the AOTV Auction.

The workshop is open to all area residents. The student fee is $15 per workshop, or both the TV and radio courses for $25.  To register, call AOTV/WVAO at 978-249-4470 or go to our website aotv13.org/forms and fill out the class registration form.

The Athol area Rotary needs 12-18 students to assist as table servers, furniture breakdown, kitchen help for their annual community dinner event on Wednesday October 23rd at the Athol town hall.  They are looking for students to assist from the hours of 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
