Things to work on at home
Letters and sounds
Royalston Celebrates our 250th Anniversary! September 11-13
Open House Thursday September 17th 6-7:00 (Book Fair 5:30-7:00)
Student ½ day (lunch served 12:00 dismissal)Wednesday, September 23rd
This week we worked with the letters “Tt” and “Bb”. The children loved echoing the sounds each letter makes. We read “Brown Bear, Brown Bear what do you see?” and acted out the parts together! Did you know that there are 3 ways to read a book? Ask your child to tell you the ways!!! In math we are learning to SORT and that there are many different ways to sort; small and big, shoe laces and no shoe laces, boy and girl! Great work! The children have “Turn and Talk” partners and are learning to not only share their thoughts but to also LISTEN to their partners! Way to go!
I hope to see you at Royalston’s 250th Celebration!!! It’s going to be the best birthday party EVER!
Thank you for sharing your children with me, I am so happy that we are becoming a little RCS family!
