ARMS Students Linked Together in Gratitude
Throughout the month of November ARMS students are focusing on all they have to be thankful for by creating chains of gratitude. Each Tuesday students are given colorful slips of paper on which they write something they appreciate having in their life. Students are expressing gratitude for their families, friends, pets, and teachers. They are showing appreciation for food, clothing, toys and so much more. One sixth grader wrote “I am so thankful for the kind person who held the door for me when my hands were full”. The slips are collected and linked together by grade level to form chains. So far the fifth grade has created the longest chain with the seventh-grade trailing close behind. However, with several “#GratiTuesdays” still to come it will be fun to see the students join together in a race to be the most appreciative.
