Third Grade Dictionaries-courtesy of Athol/Orange Elks Post 1837

Thank you Elks Lodge

Special Thanks to the Athol/Orange Elks Post  1837– Six members of the lodge,  along with a special visitor, Ian from England, came and delivered free student dictionaries to all of our third graders as part of The Dictionary Project on Tuesday, Oct.  22, 2013.  Mr. Ian also shared how some words such as “boot” which is commonly used for footwear here in the States refers to the trunk of a car in England! Pictured to the left is Elk Members and Tavaris from Mrs. St. Jean’s class.
